Squeak is the leading community-developed Smalltalk environment, descended directly from Smalltalk-80. It has long been an amazing productivity tool for experts, and now increasingly so for ordinary motivated folk and enterprise developers too.

I started the http://planet.squeak.org blog aggregator and siblings (spanish, french, japanese, croquet, updates) to help build the Squeak community.

You can help: one of the best ways is by sending darcs patches for the Venus config files. This saves me time and gives you proper credit in the changes. Above all, we want to keep a good and up-to-date list of source feeds. Here's how to do it:

darcs get http://joyful.com/repos/planet.squeak.org (use darcs 2)
edit squeak.ini (or one of the other planet ini's)
darcs record
darcs send
